Revolución de Cuba portfolio expands with four new bars
Revolution Bars Group plc has announced the expansion of its Revolución de Cuba leisure brand.
The Tameside-based company this morning (November 30) revealed that it will have opened four new Revolución de Cuba bars during the last eight weeks of 2016 as part of its ambition to launch five new sites per financial year.
Timed to benefit from the festive season, the expansion has seen sites open in Reading, Aberdeen and Harrogate, with a fourth Revolución de Cuba due to open mid-December in Glasgow.
The openings have created more than 400 new jobs.
CEO Mark McQuater said: “Our stated strategy is to open five new bars each year.
“We will have opened four new Revolución de Cubas in the last eight weeks and more than doubled the number of Revolución de Cubas, now 12 bars, in little over 18 months, a testament to the strength of the concept and brand.”
He added: “The early opening profile in H1 will benefit the company for the year to come. Looking ahead we have a strong pipeline of sites.”
Today, Revolution Bars Group’s portfolio encompasses 65 bars, 53 of which are under the Revolution brand and 12 Revolución de Cuba.
