Goldsmiths expands at Liverpool ONE with new Rolex boutique
High street jeweller Goldsmiths has launched its new-look showroom at Liverpool ONE.
The store, located on Paradise Street, took on eight new team members after expanding with the addition of a Rolex lounge.
The Liverpool ONE Goldsmiths now occupies a 581 sq ft corner plot adjacent to John Lewis and opposite Jamie’s Italian restaurant.
Craig Bolton, the firm’s executive director, said: “We are delighted to announce the upscaling of our current Liverpool showroom this winter.
“Liverpool is an incredibly vibrant shopping destination with rich culture and we are relishing the opportunity to have an even bigger presence in the heart of the city, in Liverpool ONE.”
He added: “We always strive to improve our in-store experience and maintain our reputation as the UK’s number one local jeweller, and we believe our customers are really going to connect with the new store offer.”
Miles Dunnett, director at Grosvenor Europe, which owns the Liverpool ONE shopping and leisure complex, said of the opening: “The upsizing of Goldsmiths’ store at Liverpool ONE to create a dedicated Rolex boutique is a direct reflection of our loyal shopper base, and yet another great endorsement of Liverpool ONE’s position as one of the UK’s leading retail and leisure destinations.”
Goldsmiths currently operates two stores in Liverpool, including a second site on Church Street.
Lesli Macleod, manager of the Paradise Street store, said she is confident the refurbishment will be “a huge success”.
She continued: “The Rolex lounge is such an impressive addition, unrivalled here in Liverpool ONE and complementing the surrounding collections perfectly.
“We are all anticipating that the opening of this room will be a big hit on the retail scene.”
