Wigan engineering firm wins new £1.2m contract with The Bristol Port Company
Ainscough Industrial Services, the Wigan-based multi-disciplined engineering company, has been awarded a new £1.2m contact with The Bristol Port Company.
This contract win follows on from the company securing another a multi-million pound contract for the installation of a fully automated canning production line for energy and soft drink producer HELL Group in Szikszo, Hungary.
Ainscough Industrial Services has been appointed by The Bristol Port Company to carry out a full electrical and part mechanical refurbishment of a Kone Ship to Shore container crane.
The three month project will include a full re-paint, new controls, motors and drives, sheave wheels, buffers and the installation of a new Alimak passenger lift.
Ainscough Industrial Services Port Engineering division (AIS Seward Wyon) will act as the Principle Contractor under CDM Regulations for the duration of the project.
