Bradford’s Kirgate Shopping Centre announces trio of new retailers and lease renewals
Bradford’s Kirgate Shopping Centre has recently seen a number of new shop openings and lease renewals.
Zuuluu, Brow Line and VIP Premium Vaping & E-Cigarette Liquids are three new retailers to have joined the shopping centre, whereas Warren James, Bodycare and Deichmann have renewed their leases.
In addition, Virgin Media recently relocated to a bigger unit from the upper mall, into the lower, Darley Mall.
Owned by Bradford couple, Neelum Mukhtar and Mark Harrison, Zuuluu is an ethically-sourced jewellery, clothing and homeware store; selling handmade items sourced from countries such as Indonesia, Africa, Nepal and the Middle East.
Brow Line offers threading and waxing services for eyebrows, and VIP specialises in premium electronic cigarettes.
Warren James is one of the largest jewellers in the UK. Eleanor Stanley, shop manager, commented: “This branch is one of the Warren James originals so we have been here, in this centre, for many years and are not planning on going anywhere. We are very happy here!”
Lease renewals have also been received from toiletries retailer Bodycare and footwear chain Deichmann.
Catherine Riley, Kirkgate Shopping centre manager, commented: “The last few months have been busy, busy at Kirkgate Shopping, with new stores, faces, renewals and shoppers. The variety of the shops in the centre cater to a wide range of customers.
“We are delighted with how things are shaping up and there are lots more exciting things to come throughout the year, so keep your eyes peeled.”
Bradford’s Kirkgate Shopping offers 650 parking spots on-site and remains the home of more than 70 retail units and one of two Bradford indoor markets.
