Accessorize opens new departure lounge store at Liverpool airport
High street fashion retailer Accessorize has launched a new store at Liverpool John Lennon Airport (LJLA).
The the company’s new unit, located on the upper floor of the departure lounge, is among the first to open as part of the airport’s ongoing £4m refurb and upgrade programme.
Accessorize will be open at LJLA from 4am to 8pm every day, offering tax-free prices on bags, swimwear, jewellery, flip-flops and other fashion items.
LJLA’s retail operations manager, David Taylor, said: “Accessorize are a well known, successful retailer and we are therefore delighted that they are taking the opportunity to invest in a store here at Liverpool John Lennon Airport.
“We know this will be a very popular addition to the growing retail offer we have at the Airport for our passengers and the opening of their store is the latest development of our £4m departure lounge improvements.”
The airport launched its expanded Summer 2017 schedule in March, introducing five new destinations and bringing additional flights to existing services.
More than 320k people passed through LJLA in January, making it LJLA’s 24th consecutive month of passenger growth.
