The Lakes Distillery partners with Scottish golf resort Fairmont St. Andrews
Cumbrian drinks firm The Lakes Distillery has teamed up with Fairmont St. Andrews in its latest partnership.
The deal will see 7,000 miniature bottles of the distillery’s blended whisky The ONE stocked at the Scottish golf resort.
To celebrate the partnership, each of the 5cl bottles is dual labelled and personalised with ‘Enjoy your round at St Andrews’ to welcome golfers to the course.
Additionally, hogshead sherry casks at the facility will feature maps showing golfers where The Lakes Distillery is based and how they can visit.
Distillery chairman Nigel Mills said: “As an avid lover of golf, The Lakes Distillery is proud to partner with a world class resort celebrating heritage and innovation.
“The Fairmont St Andrews, just like The Lakes Distillery, is steeped with a great history and the highest of industry accolades.”
Fairmont St Andrews’ director of golf, Amy Yeates, commented: “The welcome golfers get is so important to us. We strive to make their experience at Fairmont St. Andrews memorable and feel that offering them a bottle of the award winning One whisky will certainly do that.”
