Double Success for Cardiff in Webhelp's Star Awards
Leading global customer experience and business process outsourcer has recognised the top talent at its Cardiff site at the business’ annual Star Awards.
The talented bunch from Cardiff scooped two of the top Star Awards, which were presented at a glittering Cirque du Soleil- themed gala dinner and party in the glamourous surroundings of Edinburgh’s The Hub. The awards were established seven years ago to reward excellence at a team and individual level.
The Rising Star of the Year award went to John Abbott and Rebecca Thomas took home the Shining Star of the Year award.
David Turner said: “I am extremely proud of the team in Cardiff. John and Rebecca are a credit to our business and I am delighted that they have taken home two of our top trophies this year.
“John was chosen as our Rising Star because he is flexible, committed, innovative and creative. He even took the initiative to create an ‘advisor bible’ to help his colleagues deliver great service for our clients.
“We chose Rebecca as Webhelp’s Shining Star because she constantly goes above and beyond what is expected of her. She is always positive and supports the business by handling multiple workstreams with confidence and to a high standard.”
The winners each receive a cheque for £1,000.
