Harrogate digital marketing group IDHL acquires Magento agency Pinpoint Designs
IDHL Group, the Harrogate-based digital marketing agency, has announced the acquisition of Magento agency, Pinpoint Designs Ltd.
As a result of the acquisition, IDHL is able to extend its capabilities, expanding those offered by its subsidiary, NetConstruct.
More than 250,000 brands use the Magento platform to influence their e-commerce strategies, and the acquisition of Pinpoint enables the Group to become part of Magento’s global ecosystem of 150,000 developers and over 300 solution partners.
Lewis Sellers, managing director of Pinpoint Designs, will continue with the business as it leverages the Group’s capabilities, exploiting opportunities within the Magento market.
Dennis Engel, IDHL CEO, said: “We’re delighted to welcome Pinpoint Designs into the Group. This extends our product portfolio and ability to service our clients’ ever-broadening needs.
“We are looking forward to helping Pinpoint continue and expedite its current organic growth. IDHL Group is primed to couple its infrastructure with the technical expertise and reputation that Pinpoint brings.”
Lewis Sellers, Pinpoint managing director, commented: “We are really looking forward to accelerating our growth with the help of IDHL. They have strong infrastructure and a platform that can really benefit an agency like ours.”
This is the first acquisition undertaken by IDHL since its management buy-out in June 2017.
IDHL was advised by Squire Patton Boggs, led by corporate partner Jonathan Jones, supported by Carly Gulliver and Guy Ruddy, and by RSM for financial due diligence led by Martin Athey and Chloë Ellis for tax advice.
Pinpoint Designs was advised by Addleshaw Goddard led by James Tatro and Thomas Hopwood.
