Record year for Trafford Golf Centre as visitor hits 12 millionth ball
The last 12 months marked a record year for Trafford Golf Centre, with over 12 million golf balls hit in the last 12 months.
The figure is the highest the company has seen in its 18 years of trading, it revealed on Tuesday (December 19).
Jeremy Hinds, the golfer who hit the 12 millionth ball, was awarded a free lesson from the centre’s director of golf, Pete Styles.
Jeremy said: “After visiting Trafford Golf Centre for the last six years, it was a great surprise to find out I’d hit the lucky 12 millionth ball.
“I frequently take lessons with Pete and practice each week, the staff are also super supportive and friendly. I’m impressed with the quality of the balls, the power tees and the constant investment to improve the facility.”
The milestone follows the launch of the centre’s new DinoFalls Adventure Golf course, which opened in November and is expecting to welcome its 10,000th round in the coming weeks.
Trafford Golf Centre’s Pete Styles commented: “Congratulations to Jeremy Hinds on being the lucky person to have hit the 12 millionth golf ball at Trafford Golf Centre this year.
“We are so pleased to have reached this landmark in what has been our busiest year to date. Trafford Golf Centre has gone from strength to strength in recent years, with the addition of DinoFalls Adventure Golf bringing more families and mini golf fans over to visit us.”
