Bannatyne Group invests £80k into Durham location with new refurbishments
The Bannatyne Group is to enhance its facilities for spa guests and members at its Durham club with an £80k investment into the café-bar.
Part of an investment programme by the business, it is expected to reach £50m during the next three years. The refurbishments will be made at the club in Eden Terrace, Belmont.
The new interior will include furnishings and the creation of a children’s soft play area as well as a new Starbucks.
Matthew Emery, Bannatyne Health Club Durham’s resort manager, said: “The new café-bar looks great and provides members and spa guests with a place to relax, have a bite to eat and enjoy a drink, with the range now including Starbucks coffee.
“The soft play area is a welcome addition to the amenities and is proving a hit with families and younger visitors to the club.”
Colin MacGillivray, Bannatyne Group’s regional manager, added: “The investment in the food and beverage facilities at our Durham health club is part of our commitment to providing the best possible customer experience.
“As a business, we continually look at how to improve and enhance what we offer at the offering at our health clubs and spas, with the focus on healthy lifestyles combining exercise, relaxation and rejuvenation.”
