Rady Brings Bags of Enthusiasm and ‘Skills’ to New Travel Role

An East Midlands travel company has taken on a new continental holiday planner whose enthusiasm and positive attitude will help to evolve the brand.

Rady Racheva, 22, is the new continental holiday planner for Bulwell based Skills Holidays, which specialises in coach holidays in the UK and abroad. She joined the company in October after working as cabin crew for Monarch and previously worked as a travel agent in Bulgaria, where she is originally from.

Rady is enjoying the role and spends most of her time planning future continental holidays, or adding new attractions to current trips.

She said: “Our Christmas markets in Austria have always been popular and well organised. However, for the last trip I decided it would be a good idea to add in the Swarovski Crystal Worlds museum, which I think everybody will really enjoy.

“Another really successful trip was a recent one to Catalonia for Christmas and New Year. The passengers were more than happy and we had great feedback. People like it because it’s really good value for money.

In her role Rady is always thinking ahead and has already planned all of the Skills European Christmas trips for 2018, and is working on 2019.

She said: “The best thing about the job is that you don’t know what’s going to happen on any given day. It’s always exciting and the day goes so quickly. I feel like I only started yesterday.

Rady is currently organising more mini breaks, aimed at people working full time. “The trips aren’t just limited to people who are retired,” she added.
