Trio of contract wins enables Carter Towler to expand into London property market
Carter Towler’s property management team has announced the securing of three ‘significant’ new contracts.
The Leeds-based surveyors and commercial property company will now be managing 12 additional properties for European investment company Avignon Capital, nine of which are in London.
Matthew Faulkes, Carter Towler’s property management director, said: “We are very fortunate to have worked for Avignon Capital for many years and have established a great working relationship but we don’t ever take things for granted. It’s fantastic that they have chosen to extend our remit with these new instructions.
“We are particularly pleased to have picked up responsibility for the properties in London. Carter Towler has been growing solidly year-on-year, steadily expanding our reach beyond our Yorkshire base.
“Whilst we’ve been managing properties for clients in the North West, North East, East Anglia and Midlands for some time now, these are our first in the capital.”
In the first deal, Carter Towler has been given responsibility for five Curzon art house cinemas in Sheffield, Canterbury, Colchester, Hoxton and Aldgate.
In the second instruction, the company will be managing a 4,885 sq ft Brasserie Blanc restaurant at the Thames Pathway Fulham Reach mixed-use development, which Avignon purchased last year.
As for the third new instruction, Carter Towler will be managing six properties on Chiswick High Street, west London, one of which is a Zakti Activewear store, the new sportswear brand recently launched by Mountain Warehouse.
Established in 1948, Carter Towler’s 25 strong team manages over 3,000 properties for some 250 clients. Services include rent and service charge collection, financial compliance, maintenance and refurbishment, asset management and protection.
