London's popular Ahi Poké eatery opens at Bloomberg Arcade
On March 7, Ahi Poké will be celebrating its new opening at the Bloomberg Arcade with 50 per cent off its signature poké bowls throughout the day.
Having first discovered poké during their travels through California, the three childhood friends, Jeremy Coste, Gabriel Cohen-Elia and David Bellaiche have brought a fresh outlook on the traditional Hawaiian fish dish, with flavours mapping Asia and the Middle East.
The menu, designed by Michelin-trained Chef Jeremy is centred on sustainably sourced fish and vegetables from local suppliers in New Covent Garden Market.
The concise list of its signature bowls includes a more traditional Hawaiian ‘Oahu’ with the likes of Ahi tuna, red onion and radish.
Co-founder and head chef, Jeremy, said: “We became obsessed with poké as soon as we tried it back in Cali.
“There were these bowls bursting with vibrancy and goodness that transport you straight to the palm trees and translucent blue waters of the Pacific. We could all do with a little more of that laidback Californian lifestyle.”
Joining a line-up of new restaurants in Bloomberg Arcade, the space has been designed by Gundry + Ducker in collaboration with Jeremy, David and Gabriel.
Ahi Poké’s clean, neutral palette will have tones of greens and wood throughout, offset by vibrant wall murals and a hip hop sound throughout.
