Ted Baker unveils music-inspired refurbished store at Meadowhall
Ted Baker has unveiled its redesigned 3,500 sq ft store following the £60m refurbishment of Sheffield’s Meadowhall.
Designed by an in-house team, the record shop-themed store was created to pay homage to Sheffield’s music heritage, celebrating the city’s stars such as Heaven 17, The Human League, Joe Cocker and Def Leppard.
New features of the fit out range from the Spoonerism-style band names on the facade to the wall decorations and point-of-sale units inside.
Richard Crowther, asset manager for British Land, joint owner of Meadowhall, said: “Our investment and refurbishment of Meadowhall has been a catalyst for new, and improved stores.
“Thanks to occupiers such as Ted Baker, All Saints and River Island redesigning their stores, Meadowhall has been transformed and its future as one of the leading retail and leisure destinations in the UK secured.”
