West Yorkshire bathroom supplier to create 15 jobs as part of new expansion plans
Harrison Bathrooms, the Keighley-based bathroom supplier, is set to create 15 new jobs after securing a seven-figure funding package from HSBC.
The family behind Harrison Bathrooms has been working alongside a wide range of British plumbing companies in for over 100 years.
Harrison Bathrooms now supplies over 1,000 retailers and plumbers merchants nationwide with a next day service from its “SCUDO” branded catalogue.
The seven-figure funding package will support Harrison Bathrooms’ plans to bring new ranges into its catalogue following an exhibition at the KBB show at Birmingham’s NEC, and expand its fleet of vehicles with a new depot in the South East.
The growth strategy is expected to create 15 new jobs and increase turnover by 50% over a two year period, from £12.5m per annum to over £18m.
James Harrison, managing director of Harrison Bathrooms, said: “We’re very excited for the future of Harrison Bathrooms and it’s great to share that confidence with HSBC. The quality of products and service we offer continues to impress both purchasers and customers alike.
“We look forward to working with HSBC to broaden the market for Harrison Bathrooms into the South East of England whilst increasing our product portfolio to our existing customer base.”
Anthony Wild, HSBC relationship director for West Yorkshire, commented: “It’s fantastic to support a family business with such a heritage grow. Harrison Bathrooms has high standards when it comes to sourcing products and we understood how important it is for them not to compromise these values as the business grows.
“This marks an exciting new chapter for Harrison Bathrooms, we look forward to working with them as the business expands.”
