Free space still available for Merthyr community event
St Tydfil Shopping Centre still has free space available for clubs, community groups and charities to be part of its Your Community Day.
The day aims to give people in the Merthyr area the chance to learn more about the wide range of activities available to them. So, whether a group would like to have a stand for the day to speak to visitors about getting involved, or a club would like to utilise the demonstration area to showcase what it can do, St Tydfil Shopping Centre would like to hear from them.
Julie Calderbank, Operations Manager at St Tydfil Shopping Centre, commented: “We still have a few free spaces available for our Your Community Day so we’re encouraging groups to get in contact to reserve their spot. The day enables clubs, charities and community projects to promote what they do and engage with shopping centre visitors.
“Our last two events have been extremely successful, giving stand-holders a valuable opportunity to spread the word about their work.”
Groups that would like to be part of Your Community Day can contact St Tydfil Shopping Centre by emailing StTydfil@pmwcom.co.uk. Space is limited so will be allocated on a first come first served basis.
Free space will not be given to commercial enterprises.
