New Northern store for luxury gift retailer Molton Brown
Luxury gift retailer Molton Brown has signed a 10-year deal on new premises for its Manchester store.
The London-headquartered company will relocate this summer from St Ann’s Square to a 946 sq ft unit at 2 Market Street, part of the city’s Royal Exchange building.
Molton Brown is one of a number of brands to sign at the Grade II-listed retail scheme in the last year, following the launch of French Connection, Watches of Switzerland, Lanigan & Hulme and others.
International property business Hines acquired The Royal Exchange Manchester for German pension group Bayerische Versorgungskammer in November 2016.
Emme Haycock, asset manager at Hines UK, said: “We are delighted Molton Brown have committed for a further 10 years.
“The relocation fits in perfectly with the existing luxury retail offerings currently occupying our Market Street side.”
