Property consultancy Carter Jonas doubles size of UK headquarters in London
Carter Jonas, the national property consultancy, has doubled the footprint of its London headquarters after securing an additional 6,760 sq ft of space at One Chapel Place, W1.
The firm, which currently occupies the second floor, will occupy 14,000 sq ft over two floors becoming the largest business based out of the building.
In December 2013, Carter Jonas moved 30 staff from its previous headquarters in Berger House, Berkeley Square, to its existing premises just off Oxford Street.
In the last five years, the number of people located in its headquarters has more than tripled in size to over 100. One Chapel Place forms part of the business’s network of 37 offices across the UK.
Mark Granger, Chief Executive of Carter Jonas, said: “Our move to One Chapel Place five years ago marked a step change in our business strategy. We adopted new service lines to complement the evolving needs of our clients and have actively pursued and won national mandates such as Highways England, Homes England and Hertfordshire County Council, which are delivered through our London and hub offices across the country.
“Additionally, we have leveraged our enhanced network of international strategic partners to increase levels of cross-border corporate real estate activity. Long-term relationships remain at the heart of what we do with 80% of our work being repeat business.
“This is an extremely positive development for Carter Jonas and follows an accelerated expansion programme in which we have focused investment in London as well as enhancing our presence in our key regional centres. It is another important milestone in the continuing success of our long-term approach.”
The office currently accommodates staff working within the firm’s Commercial and Planning & Development teams.
In the last five years, Carter Jonas’ revenues have doubled with its annual turnover in the year ending 30th April 2018 increasing to £60.8m, with pre-tax profits of £11.5m.
