Revenues grow 60% at Leeds-based digital agency Perfect Storm
A digital agency founded two years ago in Leeds has recorded a 60% uplift in turnover and moved into a new city centre office.
Perfect Storm marked its second birthday with a move to a 1,000 sq ft base at Calls Landing, tripling its footprint and creating hot desking opportunities for company partners.
At the same time, new client wins and contract extensions secured in the last 12 months have driven the firm’s turnover to more than £675k.
Perfect Storm was founded with an agile marketing agency model at its heart. Rather than employing in-house designers, developers and copywriters, the company boasts a network of partners whose skills are called on as needed.
As a result, the company has a lean permanent team that primarily looks after client servicing and project management. It is led by founders Dave Nutter and Adam Errington.
Adam said: “The first two years have passed in a flash, but it’s great to see how much we’ve achieved. Clients are seeing the benefit of the agency model we’re using and that has driven us to grow the team and make the move into larger premises.
“Moving offices to Calls Landing means we now have plenty of space for our core team, but also that the freelancer partners we work with can come and work in the office as they wish.”
Perfect Storm has appointed digital producer Mairi McLaren to accommodate the bigger workload.
Mairi previously worked for Leeds-based Agency TK and has a background in client services and project management.
Commenting on her appointment, she said: “Meeting the team at Perfect Storm, I knew this would be an ideal fit for me.
“The agency has huge potential having identified problems in the industry and now successfully providing the solution.”
