The Marketing Centre Appoints Clare Rees to its West Team
The Marketing Centre, a company that provides experienced marketing directors on a part-time basis to successful firms has added to its regional team with the appointment of a former VP & EMEA Marketing Director Clare Rees.
The Marketing Centre - a seven-year old business that has pioneered the concept of part-time marketing directors – has a team of 80+ marketing directors covering nine regions in England and Wales. Year on year growth has dictated the need for expansion of the service across the West, which has prompted The Marketing Centre to add to the team.
Prior to the appointment, Clare Rees worked with a number of high-profile technology companies where she developed the marketing function and built high-performing global marketing teams. Clare has worked with companies like Adobe and Macromedia on digital creative technology and most recently with Identity Security provider, Ping Identity. She is a specialist in business models for technology, such as SaaS, and on developing GTM plans for early stage and start-up businesses.
John Courtney, regional director for the West, said: “Part-time is popular. It allows companies that may not need, or be able to afford, a full-time marketing director access to high calibre, proven experts who can help them drive their business forward. Clare’s diverse experience makes her an ideal addition to our team.”
Clare Rees added: “The Marketing Centre has a stringent recruitment process that includes multiple interviews as well as psychometric testing. I am delighted to be offered a position and I look forward to helping innovative technology businesses in the West really get to grips with marketing.”
