Swiss dessert bar maker expands in UK with retail hat-trick
European dessert bar maker Rhythm108 has expanded its hold on the UK health food market after signing deals with British retailers Boots, WHSmith and Ocado.
The Switzerland-headquartered company’s organic, GMO-free snacks are now available in more than 200 retail locations in the UK.
WHSmith is stocking Rhythm108’s Deelicious Swiss range at 70 of its travel stores nationwide, including at airports, train stations and hospitals.
Boots, meanwhile, will sell the company’s Ooh-la-la tea biscuit products at more than 133 of its UK stores, and online supermarket Ocado will stock both ranges.
Siddhi Mehta, founder of Rhythm108, said: “Along with free-from, consumers are now reading ingredient lists carefully looking out for natural ingredients they recognise.
“Our Deeelicious Swiss Chocolate Bars deliver on all attributes - and are unique because they taste just as good as the conventional products you already know and love.”
She continued: “This means consumers do not have to compromise, which was an important factor for us when making this line successful and we’re very pleased to have secured further rollout with Ocado, Boots, and WHSmith Travel Stores, due to the success of the products in existing stores.”
Rhythm108 expects to announce deals with additional retailers in 2020.
