LabTech announces new app for 'easy' access to Camden food retailers
Today (November 22), LabTech has launched its new Camden Eats app.
Camden Eats will allow users to order from over 100 central London food retailers from their mobile device, and will include group ordering, rewards and a benefit scheme.
People will have a choice of more than 50 of Camden’s participating market sellers, including Burger & Beyond and Only Jerkin’, a Jamaican twist on chicken and chips.
Also available are larger chains such as Wasabi, Tossed and K10, giving customers one of the largest selection of takeaway brands available for click and collect in Central London.
This launch follows the acquisition of food ordering app, Redi, in a deal that brought with it Dan Jones and his team, with over 20 years of combined industry experience.

Camden Eats’ director, Dan Jones, said: “The idea for the app came from the team’s personal experience while working in the City of London and in Camden, where we had little time to spare for lunch breaks, facing long queues and outdated paper loyalty cards.
“That’s when we decided to create a mobile platform that would save people time while providing them with ample food choices and a convenient digital loyalty system.”
The Camden Card loyalty programme is integrated with the app through a new digital version of the card.
Users gain the ability to skip queues, receive discounts at over 50 traders in Camden and many more lunch deals across Central London, and earn one to two per cent cash-back on every purchase, to be redeemed in app, through a loyalty point system.
Dan added: “The Camden Eats app will give companies and their employees the perfect platform to quickly order food from a range of local retailers.
“These people want convenience and choice - we offer them both and reward them as they spend.”
