Leeds cocktail business snaps up two contracts with global catering giants

Today (November 29), Zest Mixology has announced it has secured two new lucrative contracts.

The contracts include supplying premium pop-up cocktail bars to one of the world’s biggest catering companies.

Compass Group - Levy Leisure is a division - supplies catering at visitor and heritage attractions across the UK, and has appointed Leeds-based Zest to supply pop-up cocktail bars, cocktail mixologists, and cocktail services across more than 30 of its UK leisure ventures.

Zest founder and CEO, Murdo MacLeod, said: “We are delighted to build our relationship with Levy Leisure from 18 months to a point that we have now entered a powerful partnership and formalised the way we work together.

“We are a passionate team of cocktail professionals that Levy Leisure will utilises as an extension of their team on live event days. The fit for our business is right, the cultural fit with Levy Leisure is strong.”

The contract with Levy Leisure will last for three years and will see Zest provide cocktail services at events such as Glyndebourne, the world-famous opera festival, and visitor attractions including a string of famous museums.

A Zest director, account manager, five logistics staff, three event managers and nearly 50 mixologists will work on the Levy contract.

The contract will run for three years and cements a relationship with Compass Group.

Zest Mixology was set up by MacLeod in 2011. Originally focused on providing an in-home cocktail service for dinner parties inspired by Come Dine With Me, the company delivered around 300 home parties in its first year of operation.

To date, Zest has delivered over 4,000 events to over one million event guests.
