Scottish vaping retailer VPZ creates jobs with new County Durham store
Vaping retailer VPZ has expanded its North East presence with the launch of a store in Chester-le-Street.
The new shop has created five jobs and represents an investment of around £50k for the Edinburgh-headquartered company.
According to VPZ, the opening is part of a strategy to grow its footprint to 300 stores by 2021, up from 116 today.
Director Doug Mutter said: “We are really excited to finally be opening our doors of the new VPZ store in Chester le Street.
“We have identified a real demand in the area and we are looking forward to bringing our customers the best range of vaping products in the market, whilst offering great advice and support to help them move towards quitting smoking and keeping them on their journey.”
He continued: “People across the country are really waking up to the realisation that vaping is one of the best ways to quit smoking and we are here to help people make the switch and understand the products and options available to them.”
Store manager Karen commented: “We are very pleased to be opening this brand-new store and can’t wait to start delivering for our customers in Chester-le-Street and across the North East.”
VPZ’s Chester-le-Street shop opened on January 11.
