Jiffy increases bubble line capacity
Jiffy Packaging has announced its latest investment, a state-of-the-art bubble film extruder, that will allow the company to significantly increase capacity and future proof output from its Cheshire factory.
The new high-speed line will service Jiffy’s internal demand for bubble film for the company’s mailers, pouches and laminated products.
This will allow the output from Jiffy’s co-extruded machine to supply the company’s growing external markets.
Speaking about the investment, managing director, Richard Gregg said, “In making these significant investments we are future proofing our business in order to remain ahead of changes in customer demand.”
Jiffy has recently seen increased demand for its products in sectors including transit packaging, construction and automotive.
In closing, Richard said, “We operate in a dynamic sector and challenge ourselves to constantly innovate. The new machine will only further enhance our position as a leading manufacturer of protective packaging.”
