Major refurbishment at Vue Lowry is unveiled
A major refurbishment at Vue Lowry has seen every seat in each of its seven screens upgraded to a luxury padded recliner.
Vue Manchester Lowry has become one of just three venues throughout Greater Manchester to have recliners across the whole site, with every seats in all seven screens refurbished.
To add to the big screen experience, Vue at The Lowry now features a luxury onsite bar, complemented by a Coca-Cola freestyle machine with more than 100 flavours.
The site reopened to the public on Thursday 18th April, in time for audiences to enjoy the highly anticipated blockbuster Avengers: Endgame.
To mark the reopening, Salford’s Ceremonial Mayor, Councillor Ronnie Wilson, attended the venue. Commenting on the refurbishment, Mr Mayor said: “I’ve always enjoyed a trip to Vue, and it’s now an even more enjoyable experience. Guests only need to visit the venue to see how fantastic it is – it really has been designed with customers in mind!”
Darren Tinsley, General Manager of Vue Lowry, commented: “We’ve been completely overwhelmed with the response from the local community. The difference the recliner seats have made is incredible, and we’re looking forward to welcoming even more people to experience it for themselves!”
