Yeadon Town Hall launches new hospitality and entertainment venue for Leeds
Since taking over management of Yeadon Town Hall from Leeds City Council at the start this month, the Yeadon Town Hall CIC team have begun restoration work on the building.
The first space to be completed is the bar area opposite the main hall, and the refurbishment has combined two separate spaces into one larger area.
This is set to make for a more spacious place before a show or during an interval, but also provides an additional performance space to host smaller events, like comedy nights.
The bar has undergone a rebrand, and is now known as the Town Hall Tavern. The name gives the bar its own identity, showing its individual offering as a performance area and leisure destination.
As part of Restoration 2020, the Yeadon Town Hall team are now finishing redecorating the main auditorium, and have begun work on other key areas of the building including the entrance hall and the creation of a Box Office area.
Upcoming events at the Town Hall Tavern include a launch party on Friday May 3 at 7.30pm. The next event, happening on Friday 24th May at 7.30pm, is a musical themed quiz with live music from Yeadon Town Hall Director Jamie Hudson.
