North East's oldest IT firm completes successful MBO
WiFi tech specialist, KBR has successfully completed a management buyout (MBO) from its management team.
New owners Gareth Tomlin, MD, and Ruth Tomlin, sales director, are said to be implementing plans to significantly expand the business.
They aim to use their prior experience and knowledge, as well as strategic partnerships to rapidly increase sales growth and deploy a new marketing plan.
Gareth said that the firm is “extremely excited for the future”, adding: “We have a fantastic, talented team who truly hold our customers’ best interests at heart.”
Specialising in many tech solutions for both private and public sectors, KBR’s services include WiFi technology, network security, CCTV, AV and managed services.
Ruth concluded: “We are delighted to be leading a new chapter for KBR and to be able to continue to add even more value for both new and existing clients.”
