Leeds security specialist to create 100 jobs following £150k inward investment
A Leeds-based multi-service provider is set to create 100 new jobs over the next 12 months following a £150k investment into its headquarters.
Servo Group will create new jobs in its rail, security and property divisions at its head office in Leeds.
Specialising in S.I.A licensed manned guarding, CCTV, vetted and screened rail labour and property management services, Servo was founded five years ago and has worked with clients such as Network Rail, BMW, Urban Splash and Balfour Beatty.
The firm, which already has offices in Leeds, Newcastle and London, has invested £150k into expanding its headquarters on Gelderd Road, as well as extending its lease for a further five years.
Craig Wilson, financial director of Servo, commented: “Expanding in Leeds was an easy decision to make – the city is thriving at the moment with new building projects underway and many blue-chip companies operating from here, so much expansion and a growing talent pool to recruit from.
“Servo was founded in Leeds with just four employees, and we stay very involved in the city through sponsorship and community work, so we are delighted to be sticking with our roots and investing in expansion right here, while still maintaining our strategic locations in the north and south of the UK.”
