North Yorkshire IT firm expands development team by 40% during growth drive
An IT services company in North Yorkshire has expanded its development team by 40 per cent in the past two months.
Claritas Solutions, which is based in Wetherby, has invested in the growth of its team after securing a raft of new contracts and business acquisitions.
The company’s growth - in addition to new internal solution projects - has led to an increase in demand for software developers at the firm.
Claritas has taken on six new developers to meet growing demand for its services, which include providing IT solutions across a range of both public and private sectors.
Glenn Scaife, managing director at Claritas, commented: “As well as recruiting several highly experienced software developers to the team, we have also looked ‘outside the box’ and reached out to school leavers, graduates and people wanting a change of career.
“The focus was on recruiting highly capable individuals to complement our existing team of experienced software developers, who above all have a passion for software development and the aptitude to make it happen.
“I have been impressed by how quickly the new members of staff are grasping these new skills, and they are already, after just several weeks on the job, starting to turn out high quality code.”
