Osteopath clinic expands to new premises with six-figure NatWest backing
A multi-disciplinary clinic In Surrey specialising in osteopathy has relocated to a larger base after securing six figure-funding from NatWest.
The Carlton Clinic has secured a £160k funding package from the bank as well as a £40k short-term loan in order to move to a new purpose-built facility 100 metres from its previous location.
Acquired by mother and daughter team Maureen and Justine Robinson in 2016, the Carlton Clinic specialises in areas such as osteopathy, sports massage, physiotherapy, hypnotherapy, reflexology and acupuncture.
The Horley-based firm has transformed its new premises on Victoria Road into a fully-equipped practice with four treatment rooms and a spacious reception area, as well as disabled access throughout the building.
The Carlton Clinic co-founder and clinic manager, Maureen Robinson, commented: “The increase in demand from clients meant that our former location was no longer big enough.
“The new space is perfect for our business as we can expand our client base, as well as the range of treatments we are able to offer.
“We’d like to thank NatWest for their support, from helping us buy the business in 2016 to supporting us with our recent relocation.”
Andrew Glyn-Jones, relationship manager at NatWest, added: “The Carlton Clinic has been an established business in Surrey for over three decades and Maureen and Justine have built on its brilliant reputation for the last four years.
“The new premises will accommodate the family-run business as it continues to expand, and we look forward to supporting its ambitious business plans in the future.”
