Property firm boosts North East and Yorkshire presence with flagship contracts
Property specialist Knight Frank has strengthened its portfolio with new contracts to manage three North East flagship developments alongside two Yorkshire deals.
The firm has been appointed by Sunderland City Council to run its 60,000 sq ft office building The Beam at the growing Riverside Sunderland development.
The team has also won an instruction to manage 80,000 sq ft of office space at St Ann’s Wharf and 40,000 sq ft at Sandgate House, both on the Quayside in Newcastle.
In addition, Knight Frank has also secured management of two office buildings in York, on behalf of F&N Guernsey Ltd.
Head of office and partner at Knight Frank, Peter Bowden, commented: “To be appointed to manage these major office schemes is a big achievement.
Commenting on the current coronavirus crisis, he continued: “At this point in time, due to the pandemic, it’s been a bit of a baptism of fire working with the occupiers and making the buildings Covid-secure.”
