Construction begins on retirement living apartments in Heaton Mersey
Work has begun on a new retirement living development in the North West.
The new development, on Woodlands Road in Heaton Mersey, is due to open at the end of 2021 and will comprise 63 one, two and three bedroom retirement living apartments for the over 55s.
The Woodlands will will offer an innovative approach to independent living.
Alexandra Johnson, Sales and Marketing Director for Adlington Retirement Living, said: “We believe that later life doesn’t have to mean sacrificing the things you love. Retiring should be inspiring. Our approach respects our Homeowners’ privacy, surrounds them with friendly, like-minded people and supports their health and wellbeing today and in the future.”
Optional personal care packages will be available tailored to individuals’ needs and a 24-hour emergency call system is linked to a dedicated on-site support team, 365 days a year.
“We’re noticing more and more people choosing to move to upmarket and aspirational retirement communities whilst they’re fit and healthy – to future-proof retirement with peace of mind for the years ahead, and also to free up more time to focus on enjoying life.”
Adlington Retirement Living develops and operates retirement communities in the North West and Yorkshire.
