Developer reveals London's "most luxurious" housing for over 60s
A UK retirement housing firm has unveiled London’s “most luxurious” development in Hampstead.
Lifestory Group, which has a portfolio of more than 100 homes for over 60s, has revealed details of Fitzjohn’s in Hampstead, its new flagship development.
The development, which will launch in summer this year, will provide 29 individually designed luxury residences with hotel-style facilities including a concierge, club lounge, library, health spa, stretch studio, automated underground car park and a landscaped courtyard garden.
The joint agents for the scheme, Goldschmidt & Howland and Beauchamp Estates, have said that they have a “substantial” number of customers already registered for the development.
Emily Nesbitt, regional marketing director at Lifestory Group, commented: “The unveiling of Fitzjohn’s is one of the most anticipated luxury homes launches in Hampstead for several years.
“The generously sized apartments with their high ceilings, spacious rooms and grand hallways have the ambience and layout benefits of a family house, people relocating from a large property will not feel they are downsizing, merely relocating into a voluminous lateral residence.”
Steve Bangs, regional managing director at Lifestory Group, said: “At Fitzjohn’s architectural practice Sergison Bates and international design studio 1508 London have worked closely with us to create a collection of individually designed homes of exceptional quality, complete with amenities such as the club room, library lounge and spa that together create a community that has the ambience of a 5-star hotel and grand private house.
“The delivery of Fitzjohn’s has been a journey but the result is without doubt our finest London development to date sets a new quality benchmark for later living communities within the local housing market.”
