Taste of Brazil comes to Rotherham with launch of new bar and grill
A new Brazilian bar and grill has created more than 20 jobs in Rotherham after a year’s wait to open.
Rancheros Rodizio Bar and Grill, in the Stag area of Rotherham, was set to open in 2020 but was delayed twice due to the pandemic.
The new venue, which serves a Brazil-inspired menu and can seat 140 customers, has created more than 20 full and part-time jobs in the area.
Masud Rana, founder of Rancheros, commented: “I’m really excited to be opening Rotherham’s first Brazilian Bar and Grill, in an up-and-coming area of the town.
“The Stag area of Rotherham now has a cluster of restaurants and bars and I’m proud to be playing a part in its growth.
“Rancheros Bar and Grill will give visitors from the local area another choice when it comes to eating out in the borough. We are hoping to attract guests from surrounding areas.”
Jackie Freeborn, chief executive of Rotherham Pioneers, said: “We’re thrilled to be welcoming Rancheros to Rotherham.
“It offers something different for the town and I’m sure it’ll prove popular with both local residents and those coming from further afield, too.
“The Stag area now has a number of restaurants and a range of bars which will attract people to the area and be a boost to the local economy.”
