A multinational property group has announced that it is introducing three new food and beverage brands to its Elephant Park site.
Lendlease, which owns the Elephant Park retail park, will see Livelyhood, Four Hundred Rabbits and DistriAndina open in the coming weeks,
Livelyhood, a South London-based pub group, will be launching its eight site in the capital at a 3,100 sq ft venue, named The Rosy Hue and with capacity for approximately 54 covers.
Four Hundred Rabbits, the sourdough pizza specialists, will be opening its fifth site at its new 1,790 sq ft store in Elephant Park, overlooking the newly opened Elephant Springs.
Latin American grocery and café DistriAndina has also signed for a new 2,100 sq ft unit on Elephant Park’s Ash Avenue.
Guy Thomas, head of place assets at Lendlease, commented: “Signing Livelyhood, Four Hundred Rabbits, and DistriAndina bolsters the offer to our local community, and highlights our commitment to building a diverse and balanced array of operators within Elephant Park.
“Each of these brands have roots in South London and will bring something unique to Elephant Park.
“They join the emerging dining and lifestyle hub on Ash Avenue which, given its unique parkside location on the brand-new two-acre park, will provide an al fresco drinking and dining experience that you cannot find anywhere else in London.”
Sarah Wall, owner of Livelyhood, commented: “Elephant Park is an exciting new destination and stands as the perfect location to expand our offer in South London.
“We look forward to growing our team and working in partnership with suppliers in the area as well as Lendlease, to create a neighbourhood pub to be enjoyed by both local residents and visitors.
“Lendlease understands the importance of having an independent pub as part of its community, and we are grateful for their support in helping to make this new venue a reality.”
Luis Betancourt, store manager at DistriAndina, commented: “Elephant & Castle is our home, so we are very happy to be part of this new community at Elephant Park.
“Latin American food is increasingly popular in the UK, but still people don’t know all it has to offer – we look forward to educating our new audience through delicious food and exciting new products!”
