Yorkshire marketing agency expands with move to office in historic building
A family-run Yorkshire marketing agency has moved into a new custom-designed office in a historic building.
Sowden + Sowden has moved into its new bespoke office space in the centre of Hessle, East Yorkshire, to begin the next chapter in the company’s 40-year history.
The marketing agency, which is run by father and daughter duo Paul and Polly Sowden, has moved into a 19th century coach house and stable, which it claims has been transformed a ‘contemporary and vibrant hub’ whilst remaining key historical features.
Sowden + Sowden hopes this new office space will provide somewhere for its team to develop ‘award-winning’ marketing in a space designed for the recently expanded team, having welcomed several new team members over the last 12 months.
Polly Sowden, director, said: “After 18 months working apart, bringing everyone together for the first time to our incredible new home – including some colleagues who’d not yet had the chance to work under the same roof together – has been transformational. It’s really refreshing to be able to work side by side collaboratively again.”
She continued: “The spacious and adaptable building offers a lot of potential for future growth, as Sowdens prepares to take on new talent following the acquisition of some major new and international accounts.”
Paul Sowden, managing director, said: “Our new office has been completely designed from the ground up to meet our needs as a business, meaning we now have the perfect building in which to create outstanding marketing for our clients across the UK and around the world.”
Paul concluded: “We’re thrilled to be able to welcome our team to a place we can truly call our own.”
