Holiday home platform raises £1.5m with crowdfunding
A London headquartered “quality” vacation home platform has raised more than £1.5m on the online investment site Crowdcube.
This most recent round of funding is to enable Plum Guide to expand its holiday destinations, invest in its technology, and build up the brand.
Plum Guide was established in 2016 and has experienced three years of year-on-year growth with homes in 500 locations in 29 countries. The firm has also bounced back from the pandemic, seeing a 90 per cent recovery from August last year.
Prior to this round of funding, Plum Guide raised $9m from institutional investors Beringea, Talis, Hearst & LocalGlobe (Latitude).
At the time of publication there are 603 investors in Plum Guide from Crowdcube, with a share price of £18.04, with 29 days left to go for funding.
