Ramside Event Catering wins six festival contract...
THE North East’s leading event catering company is celebrating, after winning a contract to supply the bars at six major festivals in 2022.
Ramside Event Catering, which provides both food and drink operations for everything from private events to large scale concerts and celebrations, has signed a deal with Wannasee to look after the drinks provision at their events across the north and beyond next year.
The Durham-based company will now provide the whole bar operations at Northern Kin Festival (29 April -1 May) at Ushaw Historic House and Gardens, Durham where headliners include Del Amitri and Squeeze and the popular Kubix Festival, which is running at Sunderland’s Herrington Country Park on the 9, 15 and 16 July where Steps and Vengaboys are also part of the line-up.
Ramside will also be operating bars at Stone Valley Festival North from 5 – 7 August, again at Ushaw Historic House and at Wannasee Festival Leeds, Temple Newsham Park, on 13 August.
The contract will be completed with two festivals running simultaneously over the weekend of 26-28 August; Stone Valley Festival Midlands at Thoresby Park, Nottinghamshire and Wannasee Festival Penrith at Hutton in the Forest.
Alex Hutchinson, director of Wannasee and Stone Valley, said he was delighted to bring Ramside Event Catering on board.
“We are well aware of how experienced Ramside is in looking after large scale events and we have worked with them in a variety of capacities at different events over the years,” he said.
“With such a busy summer schedule it was really important that we had someone who could meet our demands and knows exactly what is required, so Ramside Event Catering was the perfect fit.”
John Adamson, owner of Ramside Event Catering, echoed Alex’s words.
“These festivals are now well established with some fantastic performers lined up to appear,” he said.
“Ramside Event Catering has years of experience in providing large-scale outdoor bar operations so we’re delighted to be able to team up with Alex and bring our expertise to help make these events an ever bigger success.”
