The Armstrong Partnership announces new senior hires

Chester-based full-service B2B marketing agency, The Armstrong Partnership, has announced a number of creative hires, taking its total headcount to 51.

Across the creative team, new talent includes a new Senior Designer and Art Director James McGregor, who brings more than a decade of experience to the role including client work for Nintendo, Honda and Gillette. Meanwhile, Senior Copywriter Paul Burns and experienced Content Writer Phil Deeks have also joined the creative team.

The trio joins five other new appointments at the agency, including two new designers, two new client services members and a 3D artist. The agency’s growth in size has also led it to accelerate refurbishment of the lower ground floor of its Chester city centre office, providing an additional 4,000 square foot of office space.

CEO Daniel Owen said: “The agency has had a successful year, with numerous client wins as well as growth within existing client accounts. We are continually investing in our talent and aim to build the strongest possible full-service team here at Armstrong – I am delighted to have so many new faces on our team.”

The agency undertook a graduate recruitment drive this summer, organising an open day to give graduates from Liverpool, Manchester and Chester universities the opportunity to see behind the doors of a busy marketing agency. Four of the attending graduates were successful and have now joined The Armstrong Partnership in full-time roles across both client services and creative.

James McGregor, Art Director, said: “I have long admired the impressive creative work delivered by Armstrong and I am thrilled to be joining such a dynamic team. There is an amazing energy within the company and it’s clear that there’s a massive appetite for creating outstanding work – which is incredible exciting! We work with international businesses across varying technical sectors, which presents an exciting challenge and allows for creative freedom using the brilliant in-house talent.”

Founded in 1991, The Armstrong Partnership delivers brand strategy and development, creative services, digital, and CGI and motion projects for its international B2B client base. Clients include Kawneer, Encirc, Bucher Emhart and SORG.
