London Bridge food and drink destination to unveil new look space for Six Nations
This February Flat Iron Square, London Bridge’s iconic food, drink and event destination, will unveil its new look space for the Six Nations.
For 2024, Flat Iron Square will partner with homegrown London beer brand Camden Town Brewery, to mark the occasion with a cornucopia of fan-perks, live performances, fast pour beer lanes and, most importantly, the best vantage points from which to gather with friends and watch the rugby.
Having gained a reputation for being one of London’s best-loved venues for live sports, Flat Iron Square are inviting guests to ‘join the scrum’ for each match, starting with France v Ireland on 2 February.
The Camden Kick Off will be in full swing before the whistle, with live music and DJs warming up the crowd before a live sing-a-long of each nation’s National Anthem, with a few ‘famous faces’ expected to make a guest appearance throughout the tournament.
Each game will be broadcast across Flat Iron Square’s huge garden screen, and via new screens installed throughout the venue, whilst the new Camden Stand, a raised platform in the main bar, will allow guests to see the match with “a little more perspective”.
Flat Iron Square have also levelled up its bar offering for this year, with additional stationary and mobile bars throughout the space, especially for the Six Nations, as well as a Fast Pour Lane, complete with a pitch runway, serving fresh pints of Camden Hells and Camden Stout to thirsty fans.
To capture the moment, there will also be a photobooth, incorporating video and dress up elements for all guests to use, as well as Flat Iron Square’s take on the Scrumbola; ‘Pick-A-Player’ and get prizes if they score.
Flat Iron Square incorporates over 40,000 square ft.encompassing seven converted railway arches and surrounding open spaces. It is part of the Southwark Quarter, a community of independent street food traders and culinary experiences, developed and operated by tvg hospitality.
