UK leading health, well-being and diagnostics provider Get A Drip expands C-suite team to strategically strengthen franchise model

Get A Drip, the UK’s leading provider of health, well-being and diagnostics solutions and technologies, today announced the appointment of Duncan Berry as Head of Franchising. The news comes as the franchise modelled firm looks to scale significantly, following the opening of a brand-new flagship clinic on Chelsea’s King’s Road - the first of an anticipated 120 new clinics due to launch in the next two to four years. 

Having already seen their portfolio of UK and Europe franchises substantially rise by 173% from 11 to 34 within the last year, the hire will propel Get A Drip’s ambition to expand further, as Duncan drives forward operations, and the franchise arm of the business. Duncan’s expertise ecompasses transformational leadership, sales development, strategic franchise management and nurturing positive relationships with key personnel, both internally and externally in order to achieve key business objectives, which will be invaluable as he focuses on identifying and seizing franchise growth opportunities for Get A Drip. 

A prominent figure in the franchise sector with 20+ years of experience in C-suite positions, including COO at Bluebird Care and CEO of Choice Hotels, Duncan brings his expertise in securing multi-site deals to further solidify and build Get A Drip’s market reputation, and help develop and streamline their already slick franchise model.

As a former British Franchise Association board of directors member who has led numerous franchise modelled businesses to success, he led on the structuring of 200+ Bluebird Care franchises and quickly grew the Choice Hotel Group from 28 hotels to 45 hotels, spearheading a major 17-hotel deal. Owning a franchise himself in the sector too, Duncan has first-hand experience of what it takes for a franchise to succeed. He will be instrumental in helping to onboard new franchisees while supporting existing franchisees to achieve growth.

Duncan will focus on growing Get A Drip’s  franchise department, recruiting new team members in the months ahead in-line with continuing to expand Get A Drip’s service offering considerably. Working with the Get A Drip team to align on the overarching growth strategy and drive profitability, Duncan will also consult the team on how to provide the optimum client experience that maintains and increases Get A Drip’s impressive customer return rate of 86%. Duncan aims to further unite Get A Drip’s CQC registered medical team, franchisees and wider staff through a high level of integrity and trust, enabling the team to achieve both business and personal development goals to perform above market expectations.

Adding to the array of health, well-being and diagnostics solutions and technologies already on offer, including industry leading IV Drip treatments and Booster Shots, alongside Compression Therapy, Cryotherapy, Ozone Therapy, PBM (Photobiomodulation)/Red Light Therapy, Cryotherapy, Gut Testing, Vitamin D Testing and Blood Testing, he will also ensure a diverse and streamlined treatment experience is rolled out across every Get A Drip franchise, with Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy and Infrared Sauna among the ground-breaking wellness technologies most recently launched at Get A Drip’s flagship King’s Road clinic. 

Duncan will work closely with Get A Drip founder and CEO Richard Chambers to deliver on the business vision to secure a portfolio of 120-130 clinics within the next two to four years across the UK, Europe and globally, to strengthen the company's reputation as market leaders in the wellness industry, democratising the space.
