North West Construction Supplier Celebrates Busiest Year To Date

A leading North West construction supplier is marking its busiest year in its nine-year history.

FS Trade, which provides high-quality render and retrofit supplies, has become one of the leading trade suppliers in the region after witnessing profits double year on year from when the firm was established in 2015.

The news of continued growth comes as the business settles into their new Huyton headquarters, which covers 27,500sq. ft. It houses the team’s main warehouses with high-quality products for all project needs, as well as an additional 30,000 sq. ft yard.

Director Joe Perry said: “I’m proud of what we have achieved with FS Trade. What started from a small shop front, has grown into a successful business with an impressive portfolio of clients supporting us, not just here in Merseyside but across the whole of the North West.

“The fact that we have been able to expand to even bigger premises showcases the demand for this industry too. We are the best at what we do and our products, service, delivery and the relationships we have with our customers is the thing that makes us stand out.”

The company, which is located at the heart of Link Road estate, specialises in external rendering, dry lining, fire stopping, IWI, retrofit solutions damp proofing, insulation, building acoustics and more.

Carol Hampson, Branch Director at FS Trade, said: “It’s quite a transition and leap for us considering our original warehouse covered just 6,500 sq. ft. But we have our customers to thank for our success and we wouldn’t be here today without their loyalty and trust. They know they can count on us to deliver.”

To meet such growth, FS Trade is currently on a recruitment drive, with more team members joining the business soon.

She added: “Despite the huge challenges placed on our business by the Covid-19 pandemic, we were able to get through it as a team and we’re excited to see what’s next.”
