
UK leader named to NORR’s global board
Global architecture and engineering firm NORR has appointed John Baird has to the group of companies’ board of directors.
Since joining the group in 2010, John has led the UK practice in delivering a wide range of projects, including heritage building refurbishments, passivhaus designs, spaceports, distilleries, healthcare facilities, net-zero carbon educational environments and low-carbon energy centres.
He will continue in his role as managing director UK, providing strong leadership while bringing his expertise to the board to help accelerate project performance and corporate social responsibility.
John said: “What excites me about this appointment is the strong alignment of vision and values across our clients, project teams and the firm.
“As an employee-owned firm, we share a deep commitment to holistic design thinking and making long-term positive impact within the built environment.
