Campaign sparks record growth for dating platform
A Manchester-based PR agency is helping a niche dating platform grow its reach across the UK.
Hendrix Rose PR has been appointed by Chapter 2 Dating, a platform exclusively for widows and widowers.
The agency led a campaign aligned with the release of Bridget Jones: Mad About the Boy, using original research to explore dating after loss.
Bosses say the campaign drove record subscriber growth and the company’s highest-ever revenue month.
As a result, Hendrix Rose PR has expanded its brief to support Chapter 2’s sister site WidowsFire, as well as sober dating venture SoberLove.
Nicky Wake, entrepreneur and founder of Chapter 2, WidowsFire and SoberLove, who herself is a widow having lost her husband Andy in 2020, said: “Hendrix Rose has already delivered some outstanding results for us, leading to our highest performing months for subscribers since we began working together.
“By truly understanding our purpose, their insight, empathy and creativity are helping to bring our story to life in a way that resonates with both press and the people we serve.
“I’m looking forward to expanding on our work together.”
Gemma Eccleston, managing director at Hendrix Rose PR, added: “We’re proud to champion a female-led tech company and help bring Nicky’s visionary platforms to a wider audience.
“The success of our recent campaign is testament to the power of insight-led, emotionally intelligent communications and the strength of stories rooted in purpose.”
