Evoluted forges bold new course

A Sheffield-based digital agency is under fresh leadership.

Evoluted, established in 2006 by Ash Young and Gareth Davies, has marked a “significant milestone” with a management buyout (MBO) by two long-serving employees Giorgio Cassella and Sam Biggins, who became joint managing directors in 2022. 

They say the move secures the company’s independence and sets the stage for rapid expansion by empowering Giorgio and Sam to execute their vision and steer Evoluted through its next phase of expansion.

Known for bespoke web development, UX, and digital marketing, Evoluted serves a diverse international client base from its 18th century Grade II-listed Sheffield office on Lambert Street, which was a former steelworks. 

The agency, which employs 25 people and holds B Corp certification, is on track to exceed £2.2 million in revenue this year.

The buyout was facilitated with support from Martin Dean, corporate finance director from Gravitate Corporate Finance, and James Burdekin, corporate partner of MD Law.
