Period care pioneer secures funding boost
A Bristol-based sustainable hygiene company is set to accelerate its growth following fresh investment.
Grace & Green, known for its innovative and eco-friendly period care products, has closed a £1.3 million funding round, supported by Leeds-based Lifted Ventures.
Bosses say the investment will help the company launch two patented world-first products in period and incontinence care.
They add that the funds will also support ongoing research, talent growth and international expansion.
Fran Lucraft, founder and chief executive of Grace & Green, said: “This investment marks a hugely significant milestone for Grace & Green as we bring to life our bold vision for sustainable period care and beyond.
“With Lifted Ventures’ support, belief in our mission, and commitment to investing in our journey, we are scaling a brand that places ethics, impact and innovation at the heart of everything we do.
“We’re not just building a product range, we’re building a movement for dignity, education, and environmental responsibility.”
Grace & Green is a leader in sustainability within the hygiene sector, offering tampons and pads made from organic cotton and bamboo, free from harmful chemicals and packaged in biodegradable materials.
It holds the highest B Corp score in disposable period care and operates carbon-neutrally.
With more than 600 clients, including FTSE100 giants Lloyds and Sky, the brand has seen revenue grow over 40 per cent year-on-year.
Grace & Green also leads the Period Dignity scheme, providing free period products in public spaces and workplaces, aiming to make sustainable care accessible to all.
Jordan Dargue, co-founder of Lifted Ventures, added: “We are proud to support a mission-driven company like Grace & Green that demonstrates deep integrity and delivers extraordinary commercial results.
“Fran and her team are challenging outdated industry norms and providing sustainable, accessible period care that is genuinely changing lives.
“Grace & Green exemplifies the type of high-growth, impact-focused business we love to back.
“Their leadership in sustainability, combined with a scalable commercial model and clear market demand, makes this a standout investment.
“We’re excited to join them on this journey.”
