Reflo gears up for Dubai 7s festival

A sportswear brand is set to tackle sustainability at an international rugby 7s festival.

Doncaster-headquartered Reflo has been named official apparel partner for the Emirates Dubai 7s, the Middle East’s flagship sports and entertainment festival, running from November 28-30 at The Sevens Stadium.

The multi-year deal sees Reflo providing high-performance kits and official merchandise across a range of sports at the festival, including rugby sevens, cricket, netball, padel and WODON3 fitness competitions. 

Fans will also be able to purchase branded shirts, vests, shorts and hats, ensuring the apparel experience matches the event’s energy and style.

Founded by Rory MacFadyen and Peter Philippou, who have lived in Dubai for over a decade and regularly attend the 7s competition, Reflo has rapidly expanded its presence in the UAE. 

They say the brand’s involvement at the festival reflects its ongoing strategy of partnering with sporting events that share its focus on performance, heritage and innovation, with sustainability at the core.

The deal also complements Reflo’s existing collaborations across football, Formula 1, golf, and rugby.

Matthew Tait, festival director and former Newcastle Falcons, Sale and Leicester Tigers star, who also won 38 caps for England, added: “We are delighted to have confirmed Reflo as our new apparel partner for Emirates Dubai 7s.
