Seriös Group sets sights on record growth
A Newcastle-based data and technology business is gearing up for its strongest year yet as it accelerates growth, further strengthens its leadership and sharpens its focus on artificial intelligence-led solutions.
Seriös Group, which is headquartered at Hoults Yard and employs more than 60 people, is forecasting record growth of around 35 per cent in 2025/26, marking its sixth consecutive year of expansion.
The momentum follows the launch of a new five-year growth plan earlier this year, setting out ambitions to scale the business internationally.
Central to that strategy is Seriös ONE, the firm’s AI-powered data solution technology, which is designed to help organisations unlock value from their data at pace while maintaining robust governance and quality.
The platform underpins Seriös Group’s positioning as a challenger in the data solutions market, supporting clients through complex digital and data transformation programmes.
To support its next phase of growth, the business strengthened its senior leadership team in May with four key appointments, adding Leanne Cullen as chief operating officer, Sam Condren as chief financial officer, Robin Cordy as chief commercial officer and Alex Bookless as chief technology officer.

The expanded leadership structure is intended to provide the capacity and experience needed to scale operations and deliver larger, more complex projects.
Seriös Group works with clients across the UK in sectors including technology, financial services, gaming, healthcare, retail and the built environment.
Its growing client list includes major national and international organisations such as True Potential, JLL, Bank of Ireland, Northern Powergrid, Vertu, Grainger and the NHS Business Services Authority.
The company has also raised its profile through award recognition, recently winning a Dynamites Award for Marketing Impact following its Sunderland AFC sponsorship campaign during the 2024/25 season.
Alongside this, its Seriös ONE Launchpad accelerator has been shortlisted for innovation honours, reflecting continued investment in product development as the business looks to build long-term, scalable growth.
Lee Rorison, founder and chief executive, said: “Our first five years have been hugely successful and it’s fantastic to be ending 2025 on such a high, projecting significant growth next year.
“This is only the start, and we have brought in the right people to help us grow further in the right way.
“Our five-year growth plan sets out ambitious targets, and we are committed to sustained growth as we catapult our business forward.
“We know businesses are battling on multiple fronts right now.
“Regulation is tightening, expectations around existing data quality are rising, and AI ambition is racing ahead of readiness.
“For ambitions to match reality, businesses, across all sectors, are often being told it will take years to address.
“We fundamentally disagree that data transformation should take years before it shows value.
“We help businesses achieve rapid value without compromising on quality, by setting up the data foundations, simplifying processes and delivering outcomes that stand up in the real world.
“Data should accelerate progress, not slow it down.
“Because of this, with our AI data solution technology, Seriös ONE, and a growing market of organisations transforming their data foundations to enable AI, we are strategically positioned to capture significant opportunity and accelerate growth during the next five years.”
