Ponteland welcomes new interior design studio
A new interior design business has launched in Northumberland with ambitions to introduce a more international, high-end approach to residential and commercial spaces.
Studio Appleby has opened in Ponteland, offering bespoke interior design services to homeowners, property developers and select commercial clients across the region and beyond.
Founded by Moldova-born designer Ina Appleby, the studio combines classical British elegance with modern functionality, delivering thoughtfully curated interiors tailored to each client.
Services span the full design process, including spatial planning, technical drawings, FF&E sourcing, project management and bespoke styling.
A standout feature of the studio’s offer is its use of virtual reality technology, allowing clients to step inside their future spaces before work begins – an immersive approach more commonly associated with leading London studios.
Ina’s international background and experience working alongside established luxury brands has helped shaped a distinctive design language, defined by tactile materials, layered finishes and a warm, timeless palette.
This design-led approach has driven early momentum for the business, with private commissions demonstrating its ability to elevate both aesthetics and property value, including several projects achieving above-asking-price sales.
Now accepting new clients across Ponteland, Newcastle, Northumberland and surrounding areas, Studio Appleby has also begun building strong relationships with premium suppliers, skilled trades and property developers as it looks to grow its presence across the North East.
Ina said: “I want clients to feel the richness of traditional European craftsmanship alongside the freshness and innovation of modern design.
“My work is inspired by heritage but always designed for the way people live today.
“This region is full of beautiful homes and elegant architecture, and my passion is helping clients unlock the full potential of their spaces with design that feels luxurious, thoughtful, and built to last.”
